Welcome to my new website. If you are reading this, it is either that you have made a search in Google and you have found my link or that you have heard about my book or my other website www.skippyglobetrotter.com and you are wondering what the fuss is all about! Now that you are here I may as well try to explain to you why I created the International Visual Translator book. The International Visual Translator - how I came up with the idea?
I don't know about you but before I travel I am always a bit nervous. Did I pack everything? Have I got my tickets? Is my hotel booked? How am I going to communicate once I have arrived? Now the first 3 questions are easy to answer but the last one is a bit more challenging. Indeed, what do you do when you travel to a country, either for pleasure or business, and you do not speak a word of the language? The answer for most of you will be to use your hands or a pen and paper to describe what you are after. I don’t know about you but my drawing skills are not the best and some things are just to hard to mime.
